Structural Corrective Chiropractic

There are many different types of Chiropractic Care available today.  Regardless of what technique is right for your, one important concept to understand is that your health is a team effort between you and the doctor. This partnership is solidified with communication about your care, and the decision you make about the level of care you receive at our office is always up to you!  In other words, your health is your choice and what you make of it.

Intensive Care

When you begin chiropractic care at our Austin Chiropractic office, your first phase of care called Initial Intensive care (also known as Structural Corrective Care) begins with frequent visits to reduce or eliminate your symptoms, provide relief, and more importantly stabilize the spine and clear nerve stress.

The duration of this initial course of care depends on several factors including history, xray  examination, and typically lasts for a period of 60-90 days (Note: children clear much quicker!). If symptoms are present, they often clear up within 3-6 weeks of care (depending on your condition and how long it has been present). Stabilization of the spine and reduction of the subluxations usually takes the remaining duration of intensive care.

Office visits at our Austin location are often frequent (between 2-3 visits/week) and a Progress Examination is performed upon completion of this first phase of care.

At the end of this Initial Intensive phase of care, we will re-take xrays of your spine to measure how much improvement you have made.

Stabilization / Wellness Care

What happens at this point is up to you. You must now make an important health decision for yourself and your family.  Just like you cannot expect to change the oil once in your car and never take care of it again, we always recommend some level of continued care for your spine.  This phase of care will make sure that your condition is stabilized and/or maintained for the rest of your life.

Because we encounter major stressors on a day to day basis (physical, chemical, emotional), this type of care ensures that the subluxations that may be produced are cleared and corrected BEFORE they cause a downward spiral of health, starting with SYMPTOMS. Your visits are not based on pain any more, they are based on preserving, maintaining, and increasing the level of health and life from within.

Visit frequency reduces to a level that is dependent on the amount of stress that you may encounter on a daily basis. This number often ranges between 1-4 visits per month. Families usually participate together in this critical part of health care. This type of care accounts for up to 80% of Dr. Daniel’s weekly visits.

Wellness care is an integral part of living life to the fullest! Patients under wellness care often notice that they get sick far less frequently, they cope better with stress, recover from injuries faster, keep their symptoms away and reduce-even eliminate their need for medications. Overall, their quality of life improves and constantly increases.

A lifetime of health and vitality through Wellness Care. This is the true meaning of Health.
